Variation on i-cord gloves

Well, I WANTED to knit the fingers the i-cord way, but there looked like there were too many stitches for it to work. I will try it again with a heavier yarn, DS #1 wants a pair of fingerless/convertable mittens. Anyway, I did all 4 fingers and then followed Meg's directions and knit them down from the top. I put in an afterthought thumb via the "thumb trick" and then finished them. I love this one. #2 in the works. Please see my blog http://www.knit4angie.blogspot.com/ for more details.
