Seamless Yoke

I'm about 3/4 done with the first sleeeve and I'm all done with the body of my seamless yoked sweater! I love the mindless zen of stockinette stitch in the round.

Here are the colors I'm planning on using for the yoke, although I'm still deciding on what pattern to use and how to combine the colors to the best effect.

And a shot of the body with my seekrit orange surprise hem :

  • Ooh, how fun!! It's lovely. What yarn are you using? I've just begun a seamless yoke sweater myself and I really appreciate this inspiration. Can't wait to see the finished product.

  • You're doing a great job -- I love the colors -- both of the body and your yoke colors. On the one I just finished, if I had made it any longer, that straight SS would have driven me nuts -- but then the yoke just flies and you really have minimal sewing/tucking in of ends!

Can't wait to see what you decide for the yoke -- thanks for sharing the WIP

  • That's one of the neatest "seekrit" hems I've seen.
Please update us on your yoke when you've made enough progress.

  • The yarn is Ella Rae Classic, it's a great basic yarn that comes in a nice palatte.

  • That's beautiful. I love the orange! In fact, it inspired me to attempt my own EZ seamless sweater :)
