Whew! All my worries for nothing. On to part 2, but here's a close up of the short rows:

I'm not too happy about the gaps, and I'm sure EZ has a trick somewhere to avoid them, but I'm forging ahead, and will most likely order the updated instructions for later versions.

I'm thinking black wool for an I-Cord edging, and maybe pewter clasps.
