Got my yarn. "Wild Plum" aran weight Rowan Yorkshire tweed. I love the color and the nagging feeling I've been having that I'd regret not making the DK weight is gone. The yarn is lightweight enough that it won't be saggy and weird, and the color is just perfect for my husband.
Swatching today, measuring tonight, drying swatches overnight, doing some calculations tomorrow, and then casting on Saturday!

Ah, nothing warms the heart like a goodly heap of Yorkshire Tweed. That color looks glorious! Such a tragedy it's discontinued... I just can't like the Scottish Tweed quite as well.

I've had my eye on that exact yarn for a year or so! When I actually choose what project to do, I might verture that way as well. Love the Yorkshire Tweed!
