Finally added the buttons, so my first BSJ is now an FO! Made with Cascade 220 at 5 stitches/inch in garter stitch, the chest measures 9" across. The final product (before buttons) weighed in at 153 g, so I figure that's about 337 yards. I was so worried not knowing how much yarn I would need, so I'm glad to have a frame of reference for the next one. This one is now on its way to
Afghans for Afghans, along with matching hat, which you can see on my blog:
www.carolslunaticcafe.blogspot.com. This was such an enjoyable and instructive knit that I now believe that all knitters should make at least one. Of course, I realize I'm preaching to the choir here!
