Yarn Recommendations for the Adult Surprise Jacket
Any yarn recommendations for the Adult Surprise Jacket? The instructions in The Opinionated Knitter recommend 2-ply Sheepswool, Unspun Icelandic, or Canadian Regal wools. What would be a good substitute?

Depends how heavy you want it to be, but if you'd like something a tad less toasty than Mary Beth's excellent suggestions, I like Morehouse Merino. The Green Mountain Spinnery mohair blend is nice, too - I made a pair of mittens from it that I love. It gets quite halo-y with wear, if that's an effect you like.
