Waiting Impatiently!
Sarah and Jess, thank you for starting this wonderful KAL. I'm SOOO excited. I just ordered two EZ books from Amazon (Knitting Without Tears and the Knitter's Almanac ~ are those good for an EZ newbie?) and can't wait until they arrive so I can choose my project. I'm ready to begin, but alas! No projects or yarn yet!

Knitter's Almanac is a more enjoyable read. Each chapter has a big project and some little ones, so it's good for beginners that way. I bought Knitting Without Tears first, and it didn't make me an EZ fan. The Almanac did, right away - so much so that I soon bought her other books and the DVDs just to complete my collection of "Zimmermannana". In short, I wish I had read Almanac first.

I think you've made good choices. KWT is a good read in itself, and I think really exemplifies EZ's philosophy of knitting. Have fun with them!
