Butterfly Bog Jacket
After a looooooong time on the back burner, it's finally finished! I initially planned on making a standard-issue Baby Bog Jacket but decided I hated the way the sleeves looked. So, I came up with a sweet little add-on: crocheted openwork "butterfly wings." I love the way it turned out and am only sad that it's now about a jillion degrees out and the jacket won't see any use till fall rolls around. Ah, well...at least it's finished!

This is so sweet! And the colors are fabulous! I am a very new knitter just embarking on the baby bog jacket - making it for 6 month sizing and have some rudimentary questions if I may: EZ's instructions say knit for 7 inches - but I'd like to add a scarlet stripe: is the 7 inches the 50% of [K] that she uses as the change point for the striping in the regular bogjacket? And when she says that the armhole delineationin the BBJ is worked in purl rather than knit (for the dimpling effect) at what point should I do that???
Sorry, but while I am addicted to EZ's prose and photos I find myself a bit bewildered by her instructions!
