Surplice Jacket
I finally got around to knitting this sweet little garter stitch jacket for my son! Can't recommend it highly enough. The wide neck is very practical... unlike his other sweaters, it doesn't end up shedding slobbery lint between his chins. I lengthened the sleeves by a couple of inches. It's cropped, but still works really well as a top layer, especially over his woolen overalls.
Thanks again, Elizabeth. And thanks to Meg for dusting this pattern off and making it available in Vogue Knitting Spring/Summer '07 and in Knit One Knit All! (It's sold separately on the Schoolhouse site, too.)
