Fishtrap Cap

Today I finished the Fishtrap cap, which I started last night. It turned out a bit too big for all the heads in our family, so I've hand felted it. Now it's more like a bucket hat (which my daughter will wear). I've knit it with Peruvian Pure Alpaca, double stranded. It's very soft and warm. I followed the chart (I'm still learning to do that) and it was not hard. I've cast on 100 sts, as it was easier to incorporate all the patterns. You'll find it in the Knitter's Almanac. I had a lot of fun knitting this one.
