Very Warm Hats
I whipped out two very warm hats using Berroco Ultra Alpaca. The recipients (my dad and son) preferred a roomy fit, so I increased the number of stitches cast on to 98 (instead of 91). I love the fact that they are reversible and they look so professional when done.
These hats provoked some intra-family jealosy and now I need to knit a third for my husband!

I love those! You did such a great job! I don't recall running across them in any of the EZ books I have. What is the pattern called and which book are they in? Thanks!

Great hats. I really like the colors you used.

@lauraj: The pattern is "Very Warm Hat" and can be found in her book, Knitting Around. Basically, knit a hat, then PU at the brim and knit another hat!

I actually pulled the pattern from the Opinionated Knitter, it is in the hat newsletter that she dad way back in the day.
Enjoy!

Wow - these hats look so neat and professional and stylish, they actually look like something my teenage brother would consider wearing (he has thus far spurned all my attempts to give him handknits!). thanks for putting up the pattern details, I just have to get hold of more Zimmerman books.
