bsj by 11yo dd
my daughter made this bsj for her 3yo sis. i couldn't help at all, never having made a bsj myself. she used fisherman's yarn and scrap yarns from the stash. she followed ez's instructions; her gauge was 4spi.
she was worried that it might not fit right; it looks fine, even if the sleeves *could* be longer.

Gorgeous! Love the color choices. And the sleeves look just the right length for a busy 3yr old. Really nice work. You have inspired me to make one now. Happy New Year!

How sweet of your older daughter to make that sweater for her little sister...she did a magnificent job!

So cute! And I agree with Mary, active girls need shorter cuffs.

Marvelous job! Hurray for Older Sister! When I was 12 (I had been knitting for a year) I told my mom I wanted to knit a sweater for my new baby cousin. My mom responded, "YOU can't knit a BABY SWEATER". It set back my knitting career for a few years, until I got that dent out of my self-esteem. So I'm double cheered to see this project!

Wow! What an accomplishment! There should be no apologies for the sleeves, my 16 year old is wearing this shape and sleeve length.
