Me again.
I know. I know. I already posted about the sweater, but I couldn't resist posting the pictures of the recipient wearing it. Because it's the first sweater I've made - hopefully you won't mind a moment of unabashed pride.
Thanks again to all of you who posted your EZ Feb sweaters. It inspired me and helped quite a bit! Now I'm off to cast on for another one!

That is so amazingly cute. I've seen lots of Feb. Baby sweaters, but it is a very rare treat to see one modeled. Too, too adorable. Just made me want to knit one big time.

It is so fun to see a baby modeling the sweater! Too often we see it before it is given away. Thanks for sharing!

I prefer to see the little sweaters being modeled, half the fun is their expressions and your little girl's expression is just priceless!
I must say that I originally thought( for like half a second) that that was someones FINGERS in the picture and I was thinking, My what a teeny little girl! But then I realised it's more like arms or legs in the picture! LOL!
(Just laugh with me here)
Wonderful knitting and you should be very proud of your handiwork.
I'm sure this is just the beginning of an obsession( I know, I belong on a knitting babysweaters Yahoo group!)

There's a yahoogroup for baby sweaters?! Omgosh, I am in sooo much trouble...
I love the EZ, but am knitting it again for the 1st time in a while and getting stuck because I am using a textured yarn-thus stumbled over here. Cute picture, and I love the yarn color! ~lmc

Is wool in the woods cotton worsted weight? Do you know the final measurements of the sweater? I want to knit a FBS to fit a one year old and don't know if a worsted weight yarn will result in a sweater that size.

It was, what I think is worsted weight - cotton. I used a size 7 needle which made it loose/lacy. The yarn is almost the same as Rowan Summer Tweed - same look, feel. The baby in the picture is 12 months, but she is tiny for her age. I'll have my sister measure the sweater and compare it to her other baby clothes so we can get an accurate size. I'll put the info here and on my blog for you.
