Is it possible to knit EZ's from the top down?
Does she write about it anywhere?
P.S. See my progress on EZ's sweater here http://thecrocheter.blogspot.com/

absolutely! With the great advantage of being able to try on the garment at every stage to adjust yoke-depth, sleeve- and body-length. Elizabeth did only 2 designs from the top (a raglan pullover and the garter-stitch Epaulet Jacket) -- but I strongly recommend Barbara Walker's book, Knitting From the Top. Barbara knits all styles of sweaters, skirts and pants from the top. Barbara, like Elizabeth, knits nearly all her designs in the round.

Sure! Once you have your gague you can use her percent system to knit anything from the top down!

Thank you! I ordered Walker's book and we'll see how it turns! I anticipate that I'll don't have any desire to knit something from the bottom again!
