One of the first BSJs that I ever knitted--but certainly not the last! This is one of my favorite sweaters to knit for any size child. I love how adding length to the sleeves, adding a collar--details that can make such a big difference! I have one on size 3 needles now in sport wt yarn that will probably be a 3 to 6 mos size. Solid pink and very girly!

Did you add the whole red band on later to enlarge the jacket? If so, what did you do about the original buttonholes?
