My First Baby Surprise Jacket
I just finished my first Baby Surprise Jacket and now can join the throngs who say, "ONE is not enough!" This was such an enjoyable project. I used Meg's Baby Surprise DVD and can heartily recommend it. There are a few variations on the DVD that I am anxious to try out in the future. My next one will have a collar on it.
Yarn Lorna Laces Shepherd Sport
Color Lake Huron
Needles 5.0mm Inox Circular

Gorgeous. Great colours and perfect buttons. I've yet to make my first one, but two babies are on the way in my family and two bsj's are in my queue!

Congratulations! I've tried to knit a BSJ, but became disheartened. Meg Swanson's DVD was recommended to me...and now that you've mentioned it, I'll order it! Thanks for the info. Beautiful, beautiful work!

You now have the BSJ addiction. It is just beautiful and the Lorna Laces Shepherd Sport is very special.
I agree that the DVD was very helpful. http://www.bluegarter.org/ has added a hood and was good enough to give directions for it.

Beautiful - and the photography, too! May it be the first of many.

Rebecca, this is lovely. The shape, the color, the flawless look of it. You are very good.
